Interface Design - Research Paper
This is a research paper written for graphic design history. My topic was interface design. I covered what interface design was, the interaction between the interface and the user, how the interface affects the usability of the product, and how as designers we can improve the interface for the user.

The Kitchen of Meaning - Mnemonics

In this project, we were to create a poster for an art exhibition entitled The Kitchen of Meaning. We selected a word that we were to use as the theme for the poster. My word was mnemonics, which are devices to aid in memory. I decided to utilize the military phonetic alphabet as they use it when remembering codes. I used this theme to create a confidential military looking document.

Flossing Teeth 101 - Instructional Design

This was for a project assigned in one of my classes. We were focusing on instructional design. I was to design a set of instructions for flossing your teeth. I choose to make my instructions for an audience of ages 16-40. I used all vectorized images for clarity. The specialty of these instructions is that they are adhesive and are meant to be placed on a mirror. This way it is convenient to read while flossing your teeth. The steps are also modular, so you can easily arrange them in any form. I also worked on product design with this project. I designed the packaging with the idea in mind that it would be something a dentist would give away at their office.
